We stand with all striking workers. To pit us against each other is an old tactic & one we must not succumb to. To suggest fair pay for healthcare workers comes out of the pockets of the people without whom the NHS would not exist is despicable, discriminatory & racist.
The Government are pitting the fight for fair pay against migrant workers yet again. We must stand together against their attempts to divide us and oppose plans to increase NHS charges for migrants! ✊🏼

The immigration health surcharge is punitive and racist. It makes judgements on who can reproduce and who cannot. It is a flat tax with the wealthiest paying the same as the poorest - undermining everything the NHS stands for. Using this to pay public worker salaries is abhorrent

The NHS has revoked Simba's £100,000 debt - given to him after life-saving brain surgery, and a two week coma. He's now been granted refugee status, meaning the charges - made when he'd been refused asylum seeker status - don't apply.
