NOOOOO you don’t say!
The opening credits of THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU were inspired by TOP GUN, confirms Jon Favreau. “We looked at Top Gun and Tony Scott films for the shots and lighting.” (Source: instagram.com/reel/DY7NNkZRA…)

I enjoyed The Mandalorian & Grogu for what it was and, in my opinion, the film went back to what the show should have stayed as: a fun Western with little to no implications on the larger picture! That being said, Jeremy Allen White is ABYSMALLY bad as Rotta the Hutt

Watched both of these for the first time over the last couple of days! Both are obviously ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ masterpieces but I’m interested in what one everyone prefers? Hard Boiled feels like the most talked about but I think I lean towards The Killer!

Huge question marks over Danny Rohl. Anytime we drop points he has done something stupid to either the starting 11 or made awful subs. I’m not Rohl out but he has won maybe one big game since he joined

Having just walked out of it I can confidently say the ending ruined the film. You can quite clearly see where the real ending was and everything else that follows just feels so unearned.
The original ending to THE MUMMY was much darker. Details: (dreadcentral.com/news/569139…)

With all the Lee Cronin’s The Mummy talk, I’ve been dying to rewatch his instalment of my favourite horror franchise:

Up next was Under The Silver Lake! Enjoyed it, didn’t fully understand it but that just leaves it open to rewatches! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In order to get through my ever increasing pile of blu rays that I’ve bought but never seen, I’ve decided to pick out 10 random ones per month to watch. This is this months 10! Any I should watch first?

The switch up on Sinners since the Oscar nominations is wild! I saw nothing but positivity for it when it came out last year and now you’d think it was on level with Sharknado!

Yeah Perfect Days was an absolute masterpiece! Next time is next time. Now is now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Released with everything that the individual releases had and £30 cheaper. This feels like a big “fuck you” to fans who bought the individual sets

I’ve not seen the movie and probably won’t watch it until it is on streaming but Charli XCX’s soundtrack for Wuthering Heights is an absolute thing of beauty!

Watching The Killing of a Sacred Deer for the first time. This movie is not helping me to find Barry Keoghan any less creepy

I just finished Wheel of Time for the first time two days ago and while there are definitely “slow” parts, I think it may be my favourite series of all time! On the other side of it, Book 10 may be the worst book I’ve ever read.
My friend said, "This is a great series. You HAVE to read it, Sandy." I got about 100 pages in and complained to him, "What the hell? Nothing interesting has happened." He said, "Oh well, yeah it doesn't really get good until you're 300 pages in." So I put it back on the shelf and never opened it again.

Send Help was incredible and Dylan O’Brien is a loser for wanting to get away from Rachel McAdams

I see everyone is being completely normal as usual about the Oscar nominations

Don’t care the film is perfect
In About Time (2013), despite the film being set in England, none of the three actors who play the film's main love interests are actually English: Domhnall Gleeson is Irish, Rachel McAdams is Canadian, and Margot Robbie is Australian.

I’ve seen this take a few times but the mind flayer also took on a different physical form in season 3 and was defeated the same way so what is different this time?
super funny how the Mind Flayer, a demonic eldritch horror made of ethereal smoke which would've been impossible to kill with guns or flamethrowers, decides in the finale to suddenly take on the form of physical flesh so that it can be easily put out of its misery
