Our final @DofE Exped of 2025! @IrvineRoyalAcad @ArdAcademy pupils complete their #DofEScotland Silver Exped in the Galloway Hills. Slightly less daylight but MILLIONS of extra twinkly stars (and no midges!). ⛺️⛰️💫🪐

A fantastic few days in the Trossachs this week. 2 @DofE Silver teams from @ArdrossanHub passing their qualifying exped & an @ArdAcademy Gold group completing their Gold practice, ready for Arran in 2wks. All in quite ‘changeable’ conditions. Well done teams! 💪🏼⛺️🚶🏻♂️➡️🎒

Well done to our 2 Gold teams from @Greenwood_Acad who completed their @DofE qualifying exped on Arran this week! Soaring temps ☀️🥵, scratchy midge bites 🦟😩 and smelly boots all round 🥾😷. They all done amazingly well (as did Niko dog… 🐶).

Our 1st @DofE Gold Expedition this year saw pupils from @Greenwood_Acad head to the Galloway Hills for their practice. Joined by a @dumfrieshigh pupil (& Penny & Niko 🐶🐶) - group did amazing in some pretty wet & midge-infested conditions! Qualifier on Arran in Aug next! ☔️⛺️🦟

A fine way to spend 3 days of National Youth Work Week ‘24 last week. 13 pupils from 5 NAC schools, all from Ukraine, Syria, Egypt & Scotland trekking/camping round the Ardgartan Peninsula. Full @DofEScotland #Silver Awards achieved all round! ⛺️⛰️🥈💪🏼
