I find it interesting how you can assign two Doctors per decade 60s: Hartnell/Troughton 70s: Pertwee/T. Baker 80s: Davison/C. Baker 90s: McCoy/McGann 00s: Eccleston/Tennant 10s: Smith/Capaldi 20s: Whittaker/Gatwa

Something that’s great about the Sixth Doctor’s era was the 45 minute episodes allowed for more time in the TARDIS at the beginning meanwhile the setting of the story is established for our characters to step into

Here's him saying this btw, such a strange take considering RTD wrote Midnight..

In the 4-part edit of Vengeance on Varos the pt 1 cliffhanger is literally the TARDIS landing. That the Doctor and Peri have entered this world of horrors we’ve spent the past 20 mins establishing

Frank (2014) Based on the comic act, this low-budget film manages to pull a strong cast to deliver some heartfelt characters in a surprisingly striking film A memorable film with some good moments of humour. It’s instantly relatable

How miserable and unhappy do you have to be to hate David Tennant? I'm serious.

What’s strange is Doctor Who has only become less serialised with each passing era. And I mean going back to the classic series
doctor who maybe the best example of serialisation negatively impacting a show to such an insane degree

I Saw the TV Glow (2024) A very distinctive and clearly personal film, with its allegory for the trans experience and fear of embracing self-discovery Its pacing and obstructive performances may be odd. But the cinematography is amazing and it creates some very striking scenes

3x90 episodes Oct-Nov 60 min specials Xmas & Easter Make it every year
If #DoctorWho ever does return, I can easily see it being transformed into a #Sherlock style 3x90 minute Special event-series. They'll air in November close to the Anniversary, with a Christmas Special a month later. Each special will be like a movie. Audios can fill the gaps.

The next era’s going to have to open with a reedit of the ending of The Reality War with Gatwa regenerating into the actual Sixteenth Doctor

We’ll know if there was ever an Xmas special script/plan by whether Big Finish adapt it into a Lost Story

Remember when people used to say Chibnall had killed Doctor Who and the only way to save it was to bring back RTD

So is the cancelled Xmas special this Wilderness’s Lost in the Dark Dimension? If so that means we’re going at roughy double the pace and can expect to see Doctor Who return in July 2032 with a movie in August 2028

This “roughly double pace” is confirmed by Search Out Science being broadcast 11 months after cancellation and the CBeebies spin-off being announced 6 months after
