I may be bias but the South Asian Identity Explored was one of the best @BAFTA195 events I've been to. Some of the most inspiring people to be in the same room as. One of the many great things I heard yesterday was "nothing's ever given to us" which couldn't be truer for us ✊🏾

Said it before, will say it again, a debut doesn’t need to cost £3mil, even with rising costs. Give debut filmmakers a chance to demonstrate how innovative and creative they can be with limitations. We desperately need a micro budget fund that allows for risk taking.
