On this #WorldMentalHealthDay, we’re reflecting on art's powerful impact on well-being.
Creating or engaging with art can reduce stress and anxiety. Through our OASIS program with @Sue_Ryder , we help individuals like Pat access art, unlocking talents that boost mental health.
The Art of Nursing. Zoe is us all. Maisie Broadhead created image of her sister Zoe ‘Take a Break’, now part of @artinhospitals collection. She’s in well-being resources, in @gatesfoundation funded @GlobalHlth5050 report on gender inequality in workplace & @FoNScharity office

We are sad to hear the news of Norman Ackroyd’s passing earlier this week, one of our collection artists.
Norman Ackroyd CBE RA was one of Britain's most celebrated contemporary printmakers.
Our thoughts are with Norman's friends and family, he will be greatly missed.

Your work doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.
📣 Thank you to Southampton Mayor Dave Shields for making us one of the city council's chosen charities 📣 We are incredibly excited to bring our art to Southampton starting with a partnership alongside Dr Angus Ferguson and Shirley Health Partnership's new surgery.
Happy International Nurses Day #IND2024 to my nursing family. Also grateful to nurses who have helped me, family members and friends over the years. I started my mental health nursing journey 31 years ago & feel fortunate to have found a career that I love from very early on.

Fab day today @NHSEngland leadership symposium for mental health . Especially loved the arts focus and not just because I enjoyed experimenting with a bit of abstract painting but because the arts are so vital for mental health. Pic with lovely @Unite_MHNA colleagues 😊#TeamCNO
