The accusation came from a single informant. No judge confirmed it. No charges were ever filed. No conviction. Nothing. 2) No court has ever ruled that Abrego Garcia was in the U.S. illegally. 3) prior to deportation he also was not here illegally. An immigration judge granted him “withholding of removal” status. That legally allowed him to live and work in the U.S. because returning him to El Salvador posed a serious threat to his life. 4) The Supreme Court’s 9-0 ruling didn’t say “only if El Salvador agrees.” That’s pure spin. The Court ordered the government to facilitate his return. There was no stipulation saying “but only if El Salvador feels like it.”
