Great to attend the Concrete BC breakfast and connect with the people helping build BC’s homes, roads, and infrastructure. From aggregates and ready-mix to trucking, trades, engineering, and manufacturing, this supply chain matters to communities across the province.

This spring, our B.C. Conservative Caucus made history by passing 4 Private Members’ Bills, more than any Opposition caucus in B.C. history. From firefighter health to first responder recognition, road safety, and perinatal mental health, we’re delivering results.

A sudden 70% water cut with little warning is putting North Okanagan growers at risk of massive losses in the tree fruit sector. Farmers understand the need to manage drought conditions, but decisions of this magnitude require consultation and collaboration - not a heavy-handed approach. I'm starting to hear water restriction issues popping up in other parts of the province, too. Growers deserve a seat at the table before their livelihoods are put on the line. @bcagcouncil #BCpoli countrylifeinbc.com/vernon-g…

Water and wastewater systems are essential infrastructure. During Estimates, I raised the importance of @BCWWA and the role they play in supporting the professionals who keep these systems safe and reliable. I was pleased to secure the Minister’s support to restore their funding

Thank you to Chief Ash Regner for bringing together a working group on homeless encampments in and around Oliver. These issues affect the broader community, those living in encampments, and first responders called to attend them. An important first step.

Encouraging news for our region. A second shift has started at the Interfor mill, with the planer expected to return to two shifts by month’s end. Great to see workers returning and new hires joining. Reliable log supply remains critical.

Thank you to Grand Forks Secondary for welcoming me into two Socials 10 classes and a Social Justice class. The students asked thoughtful questions about public service, leadership, and local issues. It is always encouraging to see young people so engaged in their community.

New Democrats designate their bill to weaken freedom of information legislation as a matter of confidence. Carried the bill, 47 votes 46, with tie breaking from Speaker. Bill hardly warranted the designation, but a sign of NDP determination to undercut FOI.

Motorcycle season is almost here, and my smallest co-pilot is ready. 🐾🏍️ As more riders get back on the roads, please look twice, give motorcycles space, and share the road. A little extra awareness can save a life.
