What is all of this James Hird paranoia about? Personally Iād select him immediately. Heās an outstanding candidate with great experience and knowledge. Hinkley wouldnāt compete with Hird thatās why heās taking his precious stance. Hinkley and Simpson are trying to manipulate the process. Just make a decisionā¦..one is yes Iām in the other is no Iām not. You canāt have it both ways by saying Iāll nominate if you delete Hirds application. Iām a Hird fan. Couldnāt give a stuff about the past (which is a whole suspicious story in itself by AFL) Iām only interested in the very best person to lift the club out of the mire and return it to respect and success - and thatās James Hird.
