It just annoys me to see people uncritically defending any agency, even if it has since fixed an issue i think people who had to struggle under it before they did should still be allowed to vent their frustrations without it being seen as "attacking former coworkers"

Like i just. I think telling someone to get over something that happened to them in a workplace because "well it's better now since you left!" is kinda cruel. It's great if they improve things for others, but that doesn't magically undo the pain for the person it was inflicted on

At the end of the day i really think you should support your favourites for who they are, like, as a person. Not for the character they play under an agency, not for the agency itself, but just for who they are as an individual creator. The agency tribalism is bullshit imo yknow

defend your oshi n all but i don't think that means you have to be uncritical of the company employing them and defend it at all costs, most of these talent companies are incompetent at best and actively malicious at worst and we've seen as much over and over again

also also, sometimes what some of you see as "defending your oshi" is actually Attacking Another Creator, and esp if you have any indication of who you're a fan of i think you should maybe be a little aware on how your actions can reflect on your oshi as a creator? Just a thought

i've seen so many agencies pop up looking promising and proceed to dramatically implode 2-3 years later that even the ones that look stable or infallible on a surface level i don't have much trust for atp. I can still like their talents and hope for improvement behind the scenes
