Oh and the cast is perfect. Even the side characters are memorable and charming. I've gone OFF on how much I adore Tessa, genuinely might be my favorite mecha girl of all time. She's cute, capable, and yet still has so much development and growth. A perfect ideal.

The start had an odd pacing mix but it worked, though when they split into main/side stories for the mecha and comedy respectively, it was such a big improvement, able to commit to both and show how much this story SHINES in either tone/genre. I love how flexible this world is

From the beginning, FMP just has this comfortable if not slightly cliched story. A secret military in plain sight made to protect a single girl. Why? Dunno. But MAN this story goes places. Unimaginable scale for how small it starts. The final few bits had my mind explode
