One of a few jewels that I been sitting on with the homie Mo3 that we created in the studio together years ago. 1st we did a song called “why my fade so fresh” (already out on streaming platforms) which I already had the hook and verse on, he added a verse to it and said “now let’s do one from scratch”. I told 3 I cant get on a song and shoot niggas up so we gotta make something that make sense lol. 3 laughs & say “say less let’s talk to these h*es then” and goes in the booth and do 3-4 different hooks on a beat that I pulled up until we got to this hook and I told him “that’s the one”.. I wrote a verse, and then we chopped it up for a minute. Once the songs were finished we sat on them and kept it moving. Some time go by and the tragic situation happened so I never released them. A couple years ago I went back in and updated the beat with my producer Q. Smith. Polished it up and boom it’s a HIT. I don’t know when this will be released cause its someone behind the scenes trying to stop it from coming out just cause I don’t want to sell it. This person wants to buy it, take one of my verses off, change the beat and put another rapper (who wasn’t in the studio with us when we made it lol) on it and I just can’t let that fly. This music shit is real and ima always stand on what I create. Its sentimental value to this particular song and changing it would discredit the authenticity.
Thankfully I have the blessings and grace from Ms. Nobles (3’s Mom), his pops, and his brother to release this record. And aside from it being good music, I like the fact that it put 3 in a good light just from the concept alone. This is unreleased and not on DSPs, but I wanna share this good music with yall. Whenever it comes out, the Mo3 estate, family and kids will receive publishing and royalties.
