So, some kismet, here’s a nice thread that lays out the reality of the YIMBY movement/coalition/hot mess. This tweet is in the middle, but it nails the “who are YIMBYs, really?” question pretty well.

Some YIMBYs do think the market will solve it. Others don't. Some YIMBYs support rent control. Others don't. And so on. It's a coalition, after all. Not everyone agrees on everything. But they do agree: limiting supply will simply increase housing costs. 6/
