🚨 Harrow Enforcement Officers Threaten Man in Viral Video – Then Fired
In this May incident outside Asian Pearl Seafoods in Harrow (video resurfaced June 12 and went viral with millions of views), two Kingdom enforcement officers (contracted by Harrow Council for littering, fly-tipping, and PSPO enforcement) aggressively confront a man filming them.
Threats include: “We’re gonna make sure you can’t work no more”, “come to the alleyway”, “I’ll rip your teeth out”, unzipping jackets, and more — all while accusing him of messing with their money. They’re wearing bodycams (one appears tampered with).
Harrow Council confirmed swift action: the individuals no longer work for Kingdom. The council and contractor stated threats of violence and tampering with bodycams are “wholly unacceptable.”
These privatised officers lack full police powers (no arrest authority, etc.), yet incidents like this fuel complaints about aggressive tactics and overzealous fining.
Context: This comes amid broader street tensions in the UK, including recent protests in areas like Liverpool. Is this isolated bad apples, poor contractor oversight, or a symptom of strained public enforcement?

What’s your take? Should councils review private enforcement contracts more strictly?
