As the AUKUS debacle is exposed by evidence to the public inquiry the Murdoch press attacks the commissioners and the process. No mention of the evidence that democracy has been trashed, the US and UK cannot deliver, our sovereignty is abandoned and we are subjugated to the US.

MP’s and Senator’s have been invited to appear at the AUKUS Inquiry. Albo, Marles, Conroy can all attend and attempt to rebut the evidence given. Even former politicians and lobbyists on the defence industry payroll can attend.

If Kim Beazley thinks AUKUS is such a good idea then he should appear at the WA inquiry and address the devastating critiques from the Melbourne hearing. Regurgitating govt talking points is insufficient to stem growing concerns or address the facts placed before the inquiry.

Amazing first day at the public inquiry into AUKUS. The analysis, intellect and commitment from presenters was exceptional. The govt cannot ignore this inquiry, it cannot hide behind “secrecy” and cannot continue to spout propaganda at the expense of facts. Well done everyone!
