This was fun, a fireside chat with @olifletcher talking about the role of the soil and gut microbiome, how little we know about them and our approach to finding out more to aid decision making youtu.be/7oQO7TZFtrI?si=Hrta…

The silly thing is the @bbc didn’t need to edit his speeches to make @realDonaldTrump look and sound stupid, just let him talk. Absolutely no one, if they listen to the end can conclude he is anything other than a complete moron.
The White House is now telling us which news we should watch. Think about that for a bit.

I read @realDonaldTrump 37% approval rating as 37% of all those polled are either morons or part of the grift. America got what they voted for but the rest of the world will be affected. Remember this when considering a vote for one of his biggest sycophants @Nigel_Farage

Clovers, vetch, bird’s foot trefoil, sanfoin & Lucerne being cut for feed following a summer fertility building & soil carbon capture. Oodles of worm & pollinator activity. One more year then back into cereals. With carbon markets now paying is this the rotation of the moment?

I’ve been lucky enough to bump into @LewisMoody7 on a train, we chatted about rugby, his work with kids among other things. A maniac on the pitch, a gent off it. I wish you well & the rugby community is with you as you navigate the emotional journey you are no doubt on #mnd

It must be hard being @_GregSwenson imagine having to justify the monumental BS that @realDonaldTrump spouts on a daily basis. My prediction stands, Trump won’t get to the end of his term as it slowly dawns on 🇺🇸 that he is indeed the 🤡 the rest of the 🌍 knew he was all along

'He likes to throw a grenade into the room.' Chairman of Republicans Overseas UK Greg Swenson explains why Trump's speech at the UN was so impactful, adding 'President Trump is saying what a lot of people are thinking.'

Anyone still think that @realDonaldTrump isn’t a moronic, narcissistic, bloated self important cry baby? I suspect that even his sickest sycophantic supporters are starting to wane in their confidence in the tangerine baboon. @Nigel_Farage still a chum?

Just heard Trump state that US farmers now have unprecedented access to the UK market, anyone else concerned?

It’s really simple, de link electricity prices from gas, do it now @Ed_Miliband & keep going with wind and solar deployment.

Moron, absolute moron. He will be saying 100% corporation and capital gains tax next. If you tax aspiration you get less tax it’s simple and well proven.

‘You don’t have a right to inherit money from mummy and daddy that you did nothing to earn.' @Lewis_Goodall suggests hiking inheritance tax to 100% in order to reduce income tax and 'incentivise work.'

Quick question to all hill sheep farmers. After foot and mouth when many sheep were culled, how did it affect the hefting capabilities of the sheep left behind or that came to replace the ones killed?

Hopefully the first of many watermelons. Market garden looks a picture, very little watering with no dig starting to pay dividends. Some crop failures, crops like 🥕 & parsnips in this system still hit & miss. Will probably have special raised beds with sand for these crops.

Is anyone else having problems with the @Ruralpay capital applications system? Seems to keep logging me out and getting a ‘Bad server response’

Is it just me or Is this man a complete tool? Utterly pathetic excuse for a human being, masquerading as some sort of alpha being.

My unmatched perspicacity coupled with sheer indefatigability makes me a feared opponent in any realm of human endeavour.

And yet still not a peep from @jamesmelville about Crop based AD plants, which is a woefully inefficient use of land.
Replying to @JamesMelville
Are golf courses on agricultural land "blighting"? Far more golf courses than solar farms. Prime agricultural land is barred from solar. Why not campaign for doubling farmer income with agrisolar? No Climate = No Farmers.

I see @domdyer70 is still as clueless as ever. Badgers have no predators, therefore the rise in population goes unchecked & many, many other species suffer. Too many times I have found hollowed out hedgehogs or seen a clutch of lapwing, & partridge eggs destroyed by badgers.
Less than the annual numbers being run over

Please no! I’ve made that mistake, don’t let successful businesses support food production. If food production doesn’t pay, don’t do it, change it, get someone else to do it but don’t subsidise it. If the industry continues to do that, food will never command an adequate price.
💷 Diversifying into non-farming business ventures alongside your farming practises can help secure a more stable income supporting the food production elements of a farm business. DETAILS: ow.ly/kuI350W6SXx
