Joe Schoen was the only one on the plane that went down and picked up John Harbaugh on the day he visited the #Giants’ facility. They hit it off then and throughout the free-agent and Draft process. Schoen now gets a deal to keep him working alongside the coach he helped land.
Cam Skattebo believes full season will equate to big numbers for him: "I had 400 yards on 100 carries. When I play 17-plus games this year, it's going to be 300 carries for over 2,000 yards."

DraftKings has released the odds for every NFL game.
Some notes about the Giants:
• Win Total: 7.5
• Make Playoffs: 260
• Win NFCE: 600 (4th)
• Favored in 5 games (TEN, ARI, NO, WAS, CLE)
• Favored in 1 of last 8 games
• Underdogs in all away games
After 17 years with the #Eagles organization, assistant general manager Alec Halaby has decided to step away to start a new professional chapter of his career, per me and @MikeGarafolo.
The personnel executive was a key contributor to both Eagles Super Bowl championships.
Joe Schoen says the Giants have multiple trade charts when it comes to evaluating draft trades, although the point system shown on the screens in the war room reflect the outdated Jimmy Johnson chart.
“The decision that goes into making a trade… we have charts that we use…”
2026 Draft picture shows the Giants still reference the Jimmy Johnson point chart for pick value (with slight shifts due to comp picks?)
Colts 5.156 = 29.4
Colts 6.214 = 4.2
Anthony is a 1 of 1 and a must follow and this isn’t a critique of his work.
NFL teams that are trading up are dining at Olive Garden. Just because the Giants had a 12% coupon for $25 pasta, doesn’t make it a good deal. The $22 pasta can still be overpriced!
Am I missing something with the “NIL is ruining late rounds” take?
If underclassmen are just staying longer, wouldn’t the pool normalize once they age out, just skewing older?
Is the argument just less upside?
Some things I’ve learned:
• Never criticize another fan’s draft trade
• All 4th rounders are special teams only
• An extra 4th round comp pick is elite
• Can’t judge a trade before the players play
• Fields was worth a 2nd rounder, eventho 32 teams passed on him in the 2nd
One of my draft philosophies: “Reaches are probably reaches, but steals usually aren’t steals”
NFL teams obviously aren’t perfect, but multiple teams passing on a player repeatedly relative to the public consensus is the new consensus.
Only takes one team to make a “reach”
RD 2 | PK #37 - Giants: Colton Hood CB, Tennessee
@MoveTheSticks' No. 21 overall prospect, Hood is the only CB in this class to rank top six in all three NGS categories: athleticism, production and overall. His 84 overall draft score trails only Mansoor Delane among CBs.
Steve Tisch is likely back at the Giants facility for Day 2. His private jet flew to Tuscaloosa after the draft last night (also stopped there Wednesday pre-draft from LA) and just landed back in Teterboro.
As @JakeBasilica noted, this is very likely just the Giants changing numbers so that there aren’t two #9’s on one side of the ball (Isaiah Likely assigned #9).
But if Kayvon is traded… you #HeardItHereFirst
Here is where each of tonight's 1st round picks sat on @ArifHasanNFL's consensus big board at the time they were drafted. The grey line indicates the average "best available" rank from previous drafts.
