Who is potential first round pick Jack Kayil? The 20 year old point guard is a top international prospect and a standout for Germany's youth system. Kayil plays with great pace as a ball handler, especially when navigating screens and had a phenomenal 2.88 AST/TO ratio during FIBA U19. (46/16🤯) He is explosive downhill and isn't afraid to be physical with defenders, but can struggle to finish at the rim. The positional versatility, of Kayil is extremely intriguing. Having the ability to toggle between being both a traditional facilitating point guard and also an off-ball guard. Something we saw glimpses of last summer, playing alongside Texas Tech's Christian Anderson with Germany. Defensively, Kayil has the size at 6'4 and speed to stay in front of guards and has some moments of switchability although that is likely not sustainable at the NBA level. He has a strong motor and is very comfortable playing a physical brand of defense.
