On January 30, 2023, Chief Breault conducted a promotional ceremony where Sgt. Alex Mitrushi was promoted to Lieutenant and will be assigned to supervise the Community Outreach Bureau. He has been a police office in NH since 2001.

Since mid-May, DPD has responded to almost 30 theft reports. Nearly all of these thefts involved unlocked vehicles or unsecured bicycles. Please lock your car doors as this is clearly the primary deterrent to theft. Residents can also register their bikes free of charge at DPD.

Chief Breault presented Lawrence Benoit with the Dover Police Department Citizen Service Award for his outstanding contribution to the department, having volunteered his time and effort to secure a post along the Holiday Parade route every year for the past 10 years.
