In celebration of the National Year of Reading, our Year 6s joined a virtual workshop with storyteller, published author and rapper Alim Kamara to explore the magic of rhythm and poetry.They even had a go at writing their own raps, inspired by superpowers!

Our young scientists from Yr4 used Snap Circuits.They explored the basics of electronics by clicking together their own gadgets. From spinning fans to glowing lights, the room was full of "aha!" moments. It was fantastic to see such great teamwork and problem-solving in action!

This morning, Mrs Anderson's maths set took part in an online workshop with big-ideas.org to celebrate the life and work of Katherine Johnson. Pupils learned about the significance of Katherine's mathematical ideas and had a go at some magic mirror maths themselves!
As part of the schools `Tastes of the World ` menus the children were given the opportunity to try food from Jamica.
Thanks to the amazing kitchen team for creating another tasty lunch. Up next is the taste of Italy.
The Yr6 ch had a great time at the Multisport Festival.The children got to participate in a range of sports including archery, badminton & table tennis.
Well done to @LutonSchGames for another great event and Stopsley High School for providing some excellent sports leaders.

Another great event from School Games (Beds & Luton) this afternoon. The children had lots of fun at the Yr 4 sports festival trying out a range of sports- badminton, table tennis, archery and some winter Olympic activities.
Yr3 took part in a live Assembly with explorer Robert Swann OBE direct from Antarctica. They learnt about the conditions in Antarctica & the effects of climate change.The children were also introduced to the 2041 project which aims to protect the Antarctic for future generations.
