Great resource. For neuromodulators for all my #DGBI patients, I start low and go slow and tell them to be patient (up to 6-8 weeks to reach max therapeutic benefit on a therapeutic dosage).
Thanks @EsophagusDoc for the shout-out! Don't forget to download your free dosing pocket card on neuromodulators too from our website! theromefoundation.org/resour…

Empiric esophageal dilation for non-obstructive dysphagia. ➡️No significant improvement in dysphagia symptoms and dysphagia score. ➡️Our meta-analysis does not support the use of empiric dilation. @cwhowden @abdul_kouanda @NasirSaleemMD @ZaidImam13 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3447…

Fascinating. Makes me wonder if we should have our achalasia type III/sigmoid esophagus patients drink coke day before their endoscopy as an esophageal prep or even daily 🥤 for maintenance. 🤔
Interesting. Share any other medical uses of @CocaCola please #medtwitter #gitwitter
🤩 @sfkhanvisuals would love to see GI art. Although esophagus is my jam, terminal ileum under water is beautiful.

Today’s #peertopeer takes the 🎂: I say LA grade A esophagitis is not GERD so Bravo is indicated & showed him guidelines. His response is you can’t just follow guidelines from “so-called experts.” Ultimately, he approved the study as a “one-time courtesy.” 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😡
