We found out how nature makes Rhodoxanthin, a retro-carotenoid.

I would link to the original Springer article, but that is paywalled and no chance in hell I am paying EUR 37,40 to check something "out of curiosity". One of the rare occasions I find ResearchGate useful.

However, what bothers me is that nowhere it is apparent on YouTube that the video got changed. If I hadn't made a screenshot and posted it on Twitter, I'd start to doubt my sanity.

One important lesson here: YouTube is NOT an archive! One cannot rely on it as such.
To be fair: it never was, but that videos get changed without a visible trace for "consumers" makes me feel that this is a gaping hole in our fake news world of today.

Why didn't I know about the "Good Lock" app for Samsung phones before today?
With "Home Up", simplifying the "Share" user interface for one's parents makes everyone's lives *so* *much* easier.
@SamsungMobile how about putting that and similar into standard simplified interface?

TBH, I did not remember, Twitter helpfully reminded me. But I do remember how it came to be: @lexnederbragt had invited me to give a talk at UiO, where I heard about Twitter in discussions with cool people like @ctitusbrown and @karinlag. Totally worth it.
