I haven't been sick a day in more than 8 years, since I went into ketosis.
But that doesn't mean things don't try to get me. What occurred last week is a perfect example.
Wednesday morning, I sneezed about 30 times within 2 minutes. My body temp soared. I was standing in the kitchen sweating. Eventually, it passed, but I was left with my nose running like a faucet. That lasted most of the day, but ended late in the afternoon. It reappeared briefly for a few hours the next day, and then vanished for good.
The most important aspects to me in this story are these:
1) I never felt under the weather. The most I could say is that on Wednesday, I felt unenthused about getting on with things I needed to do.
2) If this had occurred when I was living in the toxic state of glucosis, it would have developed into a full-on head cold, would have lasted a week, I would have felt like crap all week, and I'd have been taking NyQuil every night at bedtime so I could breathe.
Ketosis is the way.
P.S. I went to the gym Wednesday and Thursday, just kept my distance from others, and wiped down the equipment when I was done.
