Montagna Symposium on Biology of Skin: just heard that Erin Chen successfully used genetically modified Staph epi to treat melanoma in mice! Very cool - next stop man!

Montagna Symposium of Skin this year is incredible! My appreciation of the importance of our microbiome in inflammatory and non-inflammatory regulation of skin immunity has grown, I was way behind! So important in thinking about immunotherapy too!

Really enjoying the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) meeting. They get melanoma physicians and scientists worldwide together to discuss the latest data - this raises the bar for every patient! Thanks!#waronmelanoma startseeingmelanoma.com

Sean’s point is so important. The “amount” of work is so much less important than the knowledge that you are contributing to the world in a meaningful way.
Trainees see the challenges in academia: long hours, uncertainty, stress about grants/papers. It's harder to see the privileges: long-term friendships, doing interesting things with interesting people around the world, the opportunity to make a difference. I'm profoundly grateful

I don’t usually re-tweet anything outside the realm of melanoma, but this is worth making an exception! Hands down Chronicles of Narnia was my favorite series as a kid and even better when read to a kid! Enjoy!
Love listening to the Narnia series! Finished listening to Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis. Try #Audible and get it free: audible.com/pd/B002V8OEW4?so…

Is confocal microscopy in US Dermatology?! You bet - watch what happens at this meeting, it’s going to herald a new era where unnecessary biopsies can be avoided and cancer margins can be confirmed!
Replying to @rossidermmd
@dranthonyrossi Can't wait to hear your lecture at the 2nd World Congress on Confocal Microscopy May 28th, 2020 in NYC!

If you see something, SAY Something! Its an act of love for your fellow man (especially the ones you love the most!).
Brothers keeper? The online community saw a silly video and told the poster to check out the unsuspected melanoma on his back! abcn.ws/2Rkgll3 Together, we can make a difference! Way to go, may have saved his life. #melanoma #StartSeeingMelanoma #WarOnMelanoma

The younger generation is getting it!
Incidents of Melanoma continue to rise in adults 40 years of age..BUT a recent study published in @JAMADerm has found incidents are falling steadily in those UNDER the age of 30! Keep spreading the word so those incidents are less all around! (bit.ly/36BSjau)
