🚨🚨NEW AT @NoCeilingsNBA 🚨🚨 Christian Anderson is a star in plain sight at Texas Tech. I profiled his game, compared him against his 2026 guard peers and current NBA Star guards pre-draft, and why I’m so high on him as an NBA lead guard. open.substack.com/pub/noceil…

I didn’t have Dylan Harper as a guy who was going to compete so early with Cooper Flagg and Collin Murray-Boyles as best defender from the 2025 NBA Draft but here we are

Also projected, Sergio De Larrea is IN the 2026 NBA Draft. DO NOT be shocked if he’s taken higher than some of your favorite domestic college PG prospects…
NEWS: Valencia's Sergio de Larrea, a projected first round pick, is staying in the 2026 NBA Draft, a source tells DraftExpress. The 6'7 Spanish PG, 20, averages 8.9 points, 3.3 assists in 18 minutes in the ACB for Euroleague Final Four participant Valencia, shooting 39% from 3.

As projected Luigi Suigo is no longer in this draft
NEWS: Luigi Suigo has withdrawn from the NBA Draft and committed to Villanova, Sigma Sports and Excel Sports tell DraftExpress. The 7'4, 289-pound 19-year-old will be a physical outlier in the Big East who can pass, space the floor, protect the rim, and finish effectively.

I’m of the firm belief the 76ers need as much defense they can find with this pick as possible. However…. I wouldn’t mind drafting the best shooter and PnR playmaker in the draft in Christian Anderson
"When you get past the lottery guys, he might be the best combination of on and off ball skills of anybody in this class." đź‘€ - @KyleNeubeck on draft prospect, Christian Anderson

Regarding all of the conversation I’ve seen about the Utah Jazz today: Team context matters in terms of role/minutes/scheme and structure. Those can maximize a player’s talent and further development. However, fit should NOT be the only thing that prevents a team from taking the best player available. When you try and build a lineup vs. acquire the best talent, that’s when teams get in trouble. If the Jazz think Darryn Peterson is the best player that fits, excellent. That’s a SG that can slot in right alongside Keyonte George. But if Cameron Boozer is the player that Utah values, then they can’t let the team’s current frontcourt options stop them from taking Boozer. Sometimes, fortifying a team’s strength is just as valuable as trying to fill a weakness.

I’ve been in the weeds of the 2026 NBA Draft. One thing I keep walking away realizing: the talent in this class is DEEP. Teams are going to walk away with real talent into the 20’s. How they utilize/develop the talent remains to be seen. But this is a fantastic group of prospects

Interesting team building strategy here should something like this actually be on the table. Austin Reaves doesn't match the current timeline of this roster, nor should a #6 pick be made to fill out the roster as opposed to taking pure BPA. This is still rumor mill peddling, but the Nate Ament/Karim Lopez smoke is getting harder to ignore.
The Nets are preparing to pursue Austin Reaves in free agency with a four-year, $178.5 million offer, per @DanWoikeSports (nytimes.com/athletic/7350381…)

The Minnesota Timberwolves would be fools to make the reported Giannis trade floating around. Jaden McDaniels, Joan Beringer, Terrence Shannon Jr. and any draft capital can't just be given away for a player who has had the injury issues the last few seasons the way Giannis has.
The Timberwolves have made Joan Beringer and Jaden McDaniels untouchable in trade talks, per @TheAthletic “considering McDaniels’ immense value alongside Edwards as an elite perimeter defender, as well as his impressive postseason performance, team sources say Minnesota has indicated that McDaniels is off limits. Per those sources, the same goes for 19-year-old big man Joan Beringer.” (Via nytimes.com/athletic/7353314…)

Pretty significant second-round news in the 2026 NBA Draft
NEWS: Malique Lewis has been cleared to play by the NBA's fitness-to-play panel, a source tells DraftExpress. Lewis is coming off a strong showing at the adidas EuroCamp in Treviso, leading the event in assists, finishing second in rebounding, and shooting 50% from 3.
