See, I like that there's some beef there. She was in the trenches helping Will, and to her, it looks like Elfie wasn't helping from afar (even though she was) and she may be diff. There's layers of communication that aren't present, and it leads to conflict. That's realistic.

It's also hard to justify this almost God like figure that Elfie is to will when she herself doesn't know Elfie: and she also knows that Will has been abused left and right. He may not be a reliable narrator due to that, even if we know that he is.

I find that one of the things I really like about Wistoria is that all the mages feel human with different motivations , and that those emotions actually effect them beyond "lol friendship". It's one of my favorite emotional fantasy anime I've seen and it's for reasons like this

Cells at work is a nice and educational take on slice of life type anime, and hearing this, were lucky weve gotten a wisely made story despite the circumstances of the creator. Hope she's in a good place right now psychologically
"Cells at Work!" creator Akane Shimizu revealed that she struggled with several traumatic experiences while working on the manga.
She was diagnosed with depression, hair-pulling disorder and later PTSD. She also revealed that she was a victim of financial exploitation and sexual victimization by relatives and on top of that experienced secondary victimization by her family. She had to cut ties with her younger sister who had inspired her writing.
These incidents remain major wounds for her to this day.
