Had a blast today visiting 'The European Solidarity centre' in Gdansk, Poland! It was great fun to see the exhibition and finally also get to hear the audio guide I voiced for the Norwegian guide way back in 2018 😁

Figured I'd do a quick update to follow up on my goal for last year. My main goal was to complete work averaging out 2500 EUR per month on my firm, a somewhat lofty goal I didn't manage to hit. This just makes me more invested in making it this year >:D

My plan for this year is this:
- More auditions for everything (VO, song, everything).
- Joining more platforms to increase visibility
- Create more demos
- Increase my activity in scanning for work

So this post has a double purpose. I want to hold myself accountable for my goals, and I want to show other VO's who might stumble across this that some times things don't work out as you planned. But the takeaway is that you figure out what to do differently.

That feeling when you've made a pronounciation mistake in recording, but find the same word somewhere else, then splice together three different soundbites with no break in between to make the sentence, and it fits seamlessly together with no break in volume or pace.

I've been using WD's Home Cloud disk to store and easily access my work and now that support for the app for wireless use has been discontinued I can't even access it like a regular disk with USB cable. Why?
Never buying anything from WD again.
