I say this as someone who's absolute favorite FG character of all time is still not in the game.
This is the best season SF6 has ever gotten solely because it skips the state mandated SF2 slot waster.

I tried Assault for the first time a few days ago and dude. that game is ASS.
Every on foot mission is just "Destroy X number of targets." No secret objectives or branching paths. Every boss is a cakewalk.

As bad as constantly remaking 64 is, I don't like that so many peoples suggestion is just "64 again, but with different levels and a new story" or "Just do Assault again"
There are ways to push a series forward without completely changing its genre.

Marvel 3 better
Fewer buttons, chain combos are more intuitive than links, combos get complicated but even the short simple ones are fun, Spider-Man is there, Chun is low tier as she should be.

i still believe third strike is the best fighting game to introduce new people. It's got simple motion inputs, short combos, a complex but easy to understand meter mechanic, and a varied cast that fills most roles in fighting games. It's also just gorgeous and has a great ost

That Tokon announcement sunday gonna be either guardians or fantastic 4 but I really hope it's the latter its still ridiculous that none of the 4 have been in any marvel fighting game

Crossworlds is fun but man, it's really lame that the most fun speed setting isn't available online, the reward for grinding out grand prix multiple times isn't allowed online, and a lot of the game is super unpolished lol.

Actually playing the game was peak, but the way this whole thing was structured was so bad lol.
Starts super late Friday and ends super early Sunday, has a curfew, started with 30 mins of cpu battles for some reason, sending out more invites at 6am

I'm really glad they don't just use community feed back for patches because literally every time someone tries to balance a character it just amounts to
"This character is too good. Lets make them borderline unplayable dogshit"

since emma is perma banned everygame hereโs a list of what to nerf
-diamond form choke
-her crystal (should do less and longer cooldown)
-reduce her primary fire damage
-make her ult where supports can ult
-make her kick in diamond form push back less and 3 sec cool down

Heros have been homogengized to the point where every role feels like DPS with a different sized health bar.
That new water hero is the natural result of this because he's basically just a DPS with a bad healing ability.
