This blows my mind because I was just pondering how thereās no such thing as a regional sound anymore. But I never connected it to local radio and media outlets being absorbed into conglomerates piping in the same playlist of songs to every regional market š¤Æ

Cats been runnin up on me for the last 20 yrs askin me what happend to Hip-Hop. The 1996 Telecommunications Act changed what was seen and heard in the market place and many heads never recovered; fell asleep to Lil Wayne, woke up to Drake and have no clue of nothing in between.
