We are heartbroken to share the news that our owner, leader, and friend, Dennis Reinbold, has passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. We ask you to join us in supporting the Reinbold family and respecting their privacy during this painful time.
Dennis was a proud son of Indianapolis. He built a successful family of automobile dealerships across the state, and he loved the community of Indianapolis that gave him so much in return. That same devotion fueled his passion for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway—its history and the relentless pursuit of an Indy 500 win drove him every day. We can think of no better way to honor Dennis than to chase a victory in the 111th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
We ask race fans to join us in remembering the man, his passion for our sport, and the memories we shared.

What a terrible day for the IndyCar community with the passing of Dennis Reinbold. I have been lucky enough to represent him and his team at the Indy500 this year, he was such an honest person with so much love and passion for our sport. Rest in Peace, Dennis.

There are no words to describe this loss. Dennis was a brilliant leader. His commitment and passion for motorsports was second to none. My favourite part about Dennis was his ability to make everyone feel special and that they had a special relationship with him! What a beautiful thing. I am so proud and grateful to have spent the last two Indy’s 500 racing for him, and will continue to help and support the team for his legacy.
Sending my condolences to the entire Reinbold family, to the DRR racing team and to everyone at DRR automotive dealerships ❤️

It’s the privilege of a lifetime to compete in the Indy500! I love our @DreyerReinbold team, and without @InvstLLC this dream wouldn’t happen. Fought gremlins all month that appeared again on race day, but that’s Motorsports and I’m thankful for every opportunity I receive to compete in the greatest spectacle in racing. Hope we can put it together again next year… I hear the 10th time is the charm 😁

That one hurts. Solid all day long. @DreyerReinbold gave me such a fantastic race car. Strategy just didn’t play out. Got boxed in on second to last restart, got passed after the yellow came out and there was no reorder. Brutal. P12. Fastest lap of the race. #indy500
