Sometimes, messages like this remind me that all the effort is worth it. If even 0.00001% of drivers change, I’m happy !! 😊

Today on a divided flyover near OMR Road, there is a traffic jam at the exit of the flyover and I saw 50-60 bikers immediately turned bikes to drive on the wrong side to go down the flyover in reverse and take other route 🫣 Have to pull out the dashcam clip 😬 @motordave2

Why don't we like to obey basic traffic rules? No enforcement or carelessness?

The road, the lane markings are very good. Until you see the wrong side driver, you don't recognise that it's from India 🫣🫣

Sensitive Content Alert 🚨 Location : Rajkot Only in India,a pedestrian can be run over on a zebra crossing 🚸 with solid white lines and yet everyone feels it's normal to have crashes on our roads ! We need to fix the normalisation of violations first and treat them as genuine violations and act quickly without any delays and biases !

Many are commenting about pedestrians. That's also true. This is the normalisation I am talking about. We normalised risk as normal. We need to use systems as they're supposed to be used.

Well said 🫣👍 Indian roads have reached a state where rules cannot be enforced any more. On top of that, add the optimism bias feeling that we are invincible as we never crashed before or never caught is encouraging the Russian Roulette on the roads!
Wrong-side driving is on the rise; what it says about the future of India 'Most of our problems come from the same force that condones wrong side driving. The fire that broke out in a Delhi hotel a few days ago, killing 21, was caused by the same mindset that empowers people to take a 10-tonne vehicle out on the street, drive on the wrong side the whole day, and face no consequences, unless someone takes a video, posts it on social media and tags the police. Any officer in this country can just step out of his office, on to the road, and see wrong-side driving within five minutes, but they appear to notice it only on social media.' We don't know about blindspots of heavy vehicles. We just want to put our vehicle wherever there's a gap !

Zigzag road ahead warning sign. Avoid overtaking on such areas. If you think, you cannot read what's on the sign board, atleast the shape would alert us.

How many misses here 🫪🤒 1. No lane block alert 2. No observation by truck ahead and last minute reaction 3. Tailgating car in overtaking mode A simple safe following distance would've avoided it completely for car driver despite mistakes by others
