Platforms don’t drive passengers or drop of deliveries… workers do. And they don’t trust Uber and co., not for a second.
Massachusetts residents have come to rely on app-based rideshare and delivery platforms, based on data from 2021. Here are some of the numbers: - 39.5 million rides were completed using app-based rideshare in 2021.

NOTHING “FOR” THE DRIVERS WITHOUT THE DRIVERS! In our meeting tonight our membership decided to take a clear stance on new proposed legislation. A “union” funded by the companies - in which members do not elect their leaders - is not a union, it is a puppet show and a dues scam.

Company unionists are doubling down on their tricks - they present their legislations as banning company unions - but the devil is in the details. Taking a page out of #BugGig’s book. This time around we are not facing them alone. The rest of labor has wised up. #1u

We pooled our data - 12,000 rides given by drivers in CA under Prop 22 rules. The data shows : Prop 22 merely legalizes LyftUber's ability to pay drivers next to nothing - while having us finance their entire fleet. @_drivers_united /1 nationalequityatlas.org/prop…

We were out today at the airport lot with a team that collectively can speak English, Arabic, Portuguese, Bengali, and Chinese - to deliver a message that crosses all language barriers: “Drivers deserve respect from Uber and Lyft.” #1u #unionpower #UnionYes #PassHB1094

All workers in this country are entitled to a decent standard of living. That is not a radical idea.

I am proud to have earned the endorsement of @driversunitedMA. We must ensure that our app-based workers are getting the protections they deserve for fair wages and working conditions. I will be a champion for workers’ rights as the next LT. Governor.

Good morning to everyone who thinks the fundamental right to organize and form a union should belong to every single worker!

I have stood with Uber/Lyft drivers and other gig workers for years. I am ready to fight for all those struggling to make ends meet. They deserve dignity, benefits, and protections!
WE ARE PROUD to endorse for four amazing champions of the working class. All app workers union members should cast their votes for @TamiGouveiaMA for Lt. Gov; @TerriTauro4Mass for 8th Essex; @erika4rep for 27th Middlesex; and @NMossalam for 35th Middlesex. #MApoli #UnionStrong

@NMossalam has shown her tremendous support for app-workers, helping to defeat BigGig's ballot initiative. Nichole understands the issues of racism and xenophobia which many gig-workers face, on and off the job. If you want justice for immigrants and workers, vote Nichole!

Everyday, app workers face low pay, misclassification, and harassment racism on the job - all without union rights. We are backing these four amazing women because app-workers need champions - and we trust them to take the fight to @Uber @lyft @DoorDash @Grubhub! #FightLikeHell
