Dronfield Hall Barn is a beautifully restored Medieval Barn. Home of stunning gardens, and location for many of Dronfield's events, activities and talks.
Our market on 7th November sees the return of well known faces alongside some new traders. Come along and chat to @CherylPolParrot, Lockdown Distillery, Sew & Sow and The Very Happy Belly Co. #shoplocal#artisan#market#derbyshire
Are you struggling to get into the festive spirit this year? Good news! The Barn gardens will be open to the public this Saturday and Sunday (19th & 20th) from 10am-5pm!
Join us for Christmas lights, music, hot turkey cobs, hot chocolate and festive spirit. Our volunteers have worked hard to make sure we're trimmed up for Christmas – we look forward to seeing you come along to enjoy the festivities in the gardens!
Please note the building will remain closed during this period – so wrap up in your winter woollies. For more information, just head to our website: dronfieldhallbarn.org.
Did you know that on Saturday it was #InternationalVolunteerDay? We want to thank all our hardworking volunteers who have supported us throughout the pandemic - gardening, stewarding, working from home on research and admin tasks...
...Looking out for one another, and ensuring we can continue to support our community through this period - we cannot thank you enough! #IVD2020#InternationalVolunteerDay2020
We are starting to feel Christmassy at the Barn! 🙂 Despite not being able to open at the moment, we are determined the Barn will look festive along with the rest of the town! A huge thank you to all our volunteers for your efforts this morning!
More photos! Don't our lights look great? We're disappointed to not be open to the public at the moment, but you can see our display as you walk past - and hopefully we'll be back open before Christmas!
Following the government announcement yesterday, the Barn will unfortunately remain closed for the next couple of weeks. You can continue to support us by visiting our Virtual Artisan and Producers' Market - get your Christmas shopping done and support local! #Christmasmarket
Fantastic news! We're delighted to announce that Dronfield Hall Barn has received a grant from the government's Culture Recovery Fund to help the Barn continue throughout this challenging time.
Huge thanks to @dcms, @HeritageFundUK and @HistoricEngland and remembering we wouldn't have and all the amazing donations and support from our community, volunteers and Friends!
We are still #HereForCulture
