At @kansasfest 2022, I (@yesterbits) presented a pre-recorded talk about writing (most of) an arcade game for the Apple ///. The slot was short, though, the 75 minute "director's cut" is here: youtube.com/watch?v=H0CCTFjo…
Someone disassembled and recreated an Apple /// demo that I wrote in early 1980, the colorful "Running Horses" demo that was used as part of the launch. It used images originally created by Eadweard Muybridge in 1878.

Rob Justice was able to make a #FujiNet NETWORK driver for the Apple /// (#apple3) SOS, and as a test, wrote a quick ISS tracker in Business BASIC that uses the built-in JSON parser! #retrocomputing#apple2.
If you didn't catch my livestream, I announced a new product: the Universal Video Adapter for Apple ///. Connect your Apple 3 to //gs, CGA or Color Composite monitors.

Spent this evening hopping between parts suppliers to get costs down for my next project: the SoftCard III for the Apple ///.
Pricing and availability announcement in a week or two once I have the final version built and tested.

With thanks from a fellow (past) Ohioan, the keyboard encoder project is complete. One chip. Every Apple 2e, 2c, 2c Plus, 3, and 3 Plus now has a replacement encoder option. Release soon.
Very recently, some new hardware has allowed direct imaging of copy protected apple discs, including for the ///. If you happen to know where there might be a box of Apple /// disks, now would be a great time to dig them out. @textfiles can help with getting them imaged.
Just watched a presentation on the Apple /// at KFest, and it was notable that the software preservation situation is pretty dire. Pirates didn't care about the ///, so software didn't get cracked and copied, so the original disks are ticking time bombs of magnetic bit rot. \
