Always a special day when I get to see my boy in uniform. He has been bouncing around from fire to fire for the past couple of weeks on an Engine Strike team. This picture was taken on the #bobcatfire. I am proud of his humble, hard working, work ethic. #prouddad
#BobcatFire Air Tankers have been ordered to help contain a large spot fire that is north of Highway 2. The fire is located in the Cooper Canyon area on the Northern edge of the fire. #LACoFDPIO, #LACoFD
This morning the Bobcat Fire is at 44,393 acres and is 3% contained. We had a good night last night and fire behavior moderated at the south end of the fire. There was no infrared flight last night. #BobcatFire
Firefighters will remain on the fire line & engines will be in neighborhoods prepared to provide structure protection, if needed. The fire will be visible for the majority of the night, but know that it is burning in a controlled manner. Full update: cityofmonrovia.org/BobcatFir…
#BobcatFire Update: While there is still much work to be done in southwest and in the northern sections of the fire, your firefighters did incredible work around Mt. Wilson today.
