Webots open source hits 36,000 downloads of its 1GB binary packages since December 18th, 2018. That's about 1,000 download per day! And our support line is getting very busy. We are impressed by such a success. But stay tuned: a new version is about to be rolled out very soon...

Webots goes open source! Starting with version R2019a available now, Webots is released under the Apache 2.0 free open source license. Download it from cyberbotics.com and fork the source code on github.com/omichel/webots.
