The government didn’t serve Anthropic with anything the answer is a lot simpler: 1) They got so much blow back for limiting the model on research tasks and need an excuse to justify being fucking snakes. The “government” stepping in helps validate this nonsense and normalize. 2) They can’t serve this model profitability and they already signaled with cutting it off from subscribed by June 22nd. They are burning too much capital and need an excuse to rug everyone. Anyway fuck Diddy Dario I hope he slips on a bar of soap.

If there’s one thing I learned today it’s we need to make sure xAI wins at all costs. Gate keeping knowledge is one of the worst things you could do to someone. Imagine if Wikipedia gate kept math physics and biology articles from the public domain? This is an assault on the public the likes we’ve never seen before & I am boycotting anthropic from now on.

It is insane that America has given a monopoly on letter delivery to a quasi-governmental agency that then uses it to flood our homes with useless garbage against our will. America would never allow FedEx, UPS, DHL, or anyone else to force this on us.

@bubbleboi theres no way buying and just renting GPUs isn’t a free money glitch. Get some suits to find any/all tax advantages and then it’s all green. Demand will only increase with tech gains across the entire ecosystem increasing compute capabilities.

The value that math on silicon will be able to provide will force the hands of those who allocate resources to put it into compute. All this meaning that gains in models and tech/infrastructure around them INCREASE the value of the existing GPUs.
