Rangers’ hopes of a domestic treble were ended by Ivan Golac’s Dundee United at Hampden on 21/05/1994.
Despite finishing mid-table in the league, United pulled off one of the great Scottish Cup final shocks.
Craig Brewster — signed for just £250,000 as Duncan Ferguson’s replacement after his move to Rangers — pounced on a dreadful mix-up at the back to score the only goal of the game and seal a famous 1-0 win.

An Hearts/Dundee Utd relegation is statistically possible - even likely - due to both having been relegated within the past 5 years.
Aberdeen will finish higher than these clown teams.

In the first half of the 80s, Dundee United and Aberdeen were the top dogs in Scotland.
On 14th May 1983, Jim McLean’s side beat local rivals Dundee 2-1 to seal their only top-flight title to date.
Their form in the run-in was incredible — what a side they were.
