This is an outrageous, disgraceful smear on John Healey — and an outright lie. There are a ton of ways to finance more for defence — starting with net zero — without taking a penny from schools or hospitals. Reeves should be ashamed of herself for allowing this nonsense. Suggests she’s really desperate.
🚨 NEW: A Treasury source attacks John Healey for resigning as Defence Secretary "Let's be clear on what John is asking for: cuts to schools and hospitals" h/t @e_casalicchio

Not a damned word from Starmer, Streeting or Burnham about the white lad handcuffed while dying because they believed the Sikh knifeman who accused him of racism. Was he the wrong colour. Had he been black or brown Starmer would be outside the court taking the knee.

This unequivocally confirms three things: a) The game had not finished. b) The referee had not blown the whistle. c) The much ended because of the pitch invasion, and the perceived safety risk to Hearts players. There's no ambiguity now.

Not only is Tit Whisperer Zack Dave Polanski a grifting fraud, the Green Party leader is also a tax avoider. Just like Angela Rayner, he dodged tax on a property (for him a house boat). These champagne socialists want you to pay more tax that they avoid themselves. Disgusting.

So far Starmer’s efforts to save his skin have been a classic case study in how not to save your skin: The most unpopular Labour PM in history (Starmer) calls in aid the second most unpopular Labour PM in history (Brown). With most Labour MPs despising you and willing to grant you, at most, a civilised stepping down over some months, you say you’ll be in power for a decade. Labour MPs’ worst nightmare. You commission a propaganda film of you, Brown, Rachel Reeves and Harriet Harman looking smug and self-satisfied in the Downing Street garden, complete with meaningful music. How divorced from public opinion can you be? You signal you’re fresh out of new blood (Brown? Harman?) and new ideas (getting close to the EU is the best you can come up with — hardly a game changer). You think a ‘reset’ speech (again!) can turn things round? You’re truly delusional. THE END.

Oh it’s brilliant. This is Starmer in 2020 I suggest he watches this on loop “When you lose an election in a democracy, you deserve to… You don’t look at the electorate and ask them ‘what were you thinking?’ You look at yourself and ask ‘what were we doing?’” GLORIOUS 🔥

John Healy, Defence Secretary thinks we are all just fed up with the pace of change. "Are you living in cloud cuckoo land?" says Ellie Costello. He also raises how unsafe we feel online. Gimme strength 🙄 This government are so out of their depth & out of touch with the people.

No, Prime Minister. You could have banned hate matches. You could have banned pro-Iranian regime groups. You could have deported disgustingly antisemitic imams. You could have cracked down on mosques spewing Jew hatred. Instead you introduced an “anti-Muslim hate” definition.
I am deeply concerned about the terrorist attack that took place today. This is not an isolated incident. It is the latest in a spate of utterly vile attacks on the Jewish community. I’ve just chaired an emergency COBR meeting and tomorrow I’ll be bringing together criminal justice agencies to ensure we have effective and swift justice.

If you're shocked by today's stabbing terror attack on British Jews, you must have been living under a rock for the past few years. Not a single one of the men who drove through North London in 2021 shouting “F*** the Jews, f*** their daughters, f*** their mothers, rape their daughters and free Palestine" were prosecuted. Not one. So why is anyone surprised when British Jews are stabbed in broad daylight a few years later? The message went out loud and clear that anti-semitism was allowed on our streets. Starmer forced through Mandelson's appointment despite the fact he'd been red flagged by the security services. He then lied to the House about it. He then tried to cover up publication of the documents that would have exposed the lies. If that isn't a resigning matter, what is.

The entitlement of the ‘big clubs’ and the attention they garner never ceases to amaze me. When Manchester United found themselves floundering in the first half last night against #LUFC, shell-shocked by Noah Okafor’s double; they resorted to throwing themselves to the floor and begging the referee for handouts. Cunha got a yellow for diving. Fernandes’ got a yellow for non-stop begging and dissent.. Martinez got a red card for pulling Calvert-Lewin’s hair. ManchesterUnited have every off-field benefit stacked in their favour against Leeds. Revenue that is multiples of the Whites, ground capacity, training facilities, wage bill - it all dwarfs Leeds. But they have to resort to cheating when things don’t go their way. Under 10s know that diving is cheating, that you have to respect the referee and they also know that pulling someone’s hair is a red card. So for their club-captain and manager to come out after the game and bemoan the referee - and for that to dominate the media narrative - rather than the brilliance of Leeds United and their tactics is a stunning display of entitlement and faux-injustice. A tug on the hair is a red card. Now can we talk about Leeds United’s history-making performance?

Open the Straits of Hormuz because the world needs the oil and gas. Don't grant drilling licences in the North Sea, because the world does not need oil and gas. Your stupidity is on a level never seen before in UK politics.

Many laughed when Starmer said UK would become an AI “superpower”. AI requires huge amounts of cheap power. Mad Ed gave us the world’s most expensive electricity. Just lost us £31 Billion investment. Treason. ⁦@Ed_Milibandmol.im/a/15718965

Keir Starmer claims Nigel Farage is to blame for the boat people because Brexit took us out of the Dublin Convention (in 2020), which allowed us to return asylum seekers to the EU countries from whence they came. The PM is either ignorant of the facts — or knowingly lying. Neither is a good look. The Dublin Convention was a two-way street for asylum seekers. Yes, we could try to return them. But others could also be returned to us. As a result the Dublin Agreement actually made us a net recipient of asylum seekers. Take 2018. We made 5,500 requests for asylum seekers to be returned. Only 209 transfers were agreed. In the same year, under the same convention we accepted 1,215 asylum seekers. So we were net recipients by over 1,000. The Dublin Convention did nothing to make it easier to return asylum seekers. Nearly all politicians are cavalier with the truth when it suits them. But Starmer is taking this to a new level.

Polanski is a know-nothing blowhard. The only Jewish person to lead a political party — bar, that is, Benjamin Disraeli, Ed Miliband, Michael Howard, Jimmy Goldsmith and Herbert Samuel. He is clearly ignorant of the country’s history. And much more besides.
For whoever needs to hear this I'm the only Jewish person to lead a political party - third largest in the country. The Daily Mail have been & always will be my enemy - they historically supported fascists & continue to do so. I'll take no lectures from them on Antisemitism.

Folks I don’t know @iamtomskinner personally & we follow each other, like many of us including me he’s made mistakes in life & if we learn from them it often makes us better people & Thomas from what I have see has & does a lot of good; The abuse & insults aimed at him; Why? if you agree with his views concerns passions then fine & if not don’t just post anger hate & spite just say I disagree because of ABC that’s what engagement is about not just constant abuse 🤷‍♂️ Instead of constantly reminding people of the wrongs they’ve made in life? How about recognising the often many good things that people do instead; those in glass houses etc I find this X platform has some pretty sad angry horrible hateful people on it; I think the Men’s walk Thomas does on a Sunday morning in Essex is a good thing especially when men who are in a bad way with MH work private issues can just get some air & talk if they want & just to be amongst other blokes for a quiet time etc Thomas appears to work hard gets up very early most days; he looks after & provides for his family & if there were once issues personally/privately domestically it happens many couples have such; people fall out & often make up its life & not for others to keep putting the boot in on private matters that actually have nothing to do with them; I personally wish Tom well & I see the good he does & maybe the haters & abuses take a day off & try & see the good in people rather than just constantly put others down; When people are successful in life does t make them a bad person often it’s taken years to get to such a place; If you are one of the haters/abusers & live near Brentwood instead of posting hate & abuse nip along to one of his walks you might even find he’s just a cheeky chappy who is trying to do something positive in life🤷‍♂️ x.com/ArchRose90/status/2037…
