Thanks to work with the team at Scottish Rowing, crews now have a closer and more accessible opportunity to show their speed ahead of HRR.

A fantastic turnout today for the naming of 5 new and not so new boats, one in honour of former President Fred Snowdon and Junior Coach Gordon Beattie, one for former Captain George Adair, and three more in the DARC tradition named Prince of Darcness, DARC Humour and DARC Energy.

Ideal conditions yesterday saw wins at Durham LDS for the MasD 4x- composite, J14 4x , WJ18 2x, Open 1x Baird, J16 1x band 1 (joint) and WMasH 1x, and at Durham ASBH for MasE 4x- composite, MasD 4 , J15 4x , Open 2- and Open 1x Lakey. Well done everyone!

A very satisfactory outcome to the final day of the Club Championships today with a silver medal for the WJ14 2x composite with Lambton, the J14 4x reaching the A final and J15 2x composite the B final, plus 4 more crews in C finals over the last 2 days. Well done all.

There was a second gold medal success for Quinn today winning the J16 1x to add to the J18 1x he won yesterday at the British Rowing Club Championships at Nottingham, a fantastic way to end the season!
