Durham has a monopoly on first year housing, therefore have power in controlling how much landlords charge everyone.
From the start of DWCSA, we have been demanding a better deal for those living in college yet once again Durham excludes w/c students.

The cost of a standard catered room will be over £8000 for the first time under changes for the 2022/2023 academic year. While, in previous years, the University sent an email to all students about such increases, no such communications have been issued this year.
