To all of you New Yorkers, the New York Knicks are worth $10 billion dollars. If we dissolved the franchise we could use that money to end world hunger. Stop celebrating greed.

Actually, it does in fact trickle down.
A man working as a welder at SpaceX for $28 an hour has just become a millionaire. Juan Hernandez, who came from Mexico, welded rockets for SpaceX at $28 an hour. SpaceX gave him $10,000 in stock when he went full time in 2015, and he bought more with every paycheck for 10 years. $SPCX is now trading at $167, making his shares worth over $1 million.

elon being worth $1 trillion does not mean elon has $1 trillion in the bank. most of the people i see arguing for a 5% annual wealth tax appear to be willfully misunderstanding this.

.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense. SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world. Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere. SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity. Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help. The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist. Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives. Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation. Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears. Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction. We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.

Every progressive wants wealth confiscation. Not a single progressive wants to volunteer their own wealth for confiscation.

Don’t worry about Elon becoming rich with his own money. Worry about politicians becoming rich with your money.

These politicians see Elon’s money and they want to spend (waste) it.

Yet folks like Bernie and Liz are mad.
NEW: Juan Hernandez, a welder who says he took “just another contract job” at SpaceX for $28/hr in 2015, is now a millionaire as shares soar.

This is pretty incredible.
JUST IN: 400 current & former SpaceX employees are poised to become worth over $100 million from the IPO.

I’m not sure what scares me more, an actual self-proclaimed Nazi running for a Senate seat or the thousands who voted for one.

If you’re voting for Graham Platner, you don’t really have an issue with Donald Trump’s moral deficiencies; you have a problem with the fact that he’s not on your side.

Really baffled by the folks who have made the Texas murder trial into something racial. This country is in serious trouble.

Weird to see major Democrats fawn over a guy with a Nazi tattoo. No wonder my Jewish friends have left the party. If I weren’t unaffiliated already, I would leave too.

This is absolutely disgusting. 🤮
I’m humbled and proud to officially be your Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate to take on Susan Collins and the billionaire class she represents. Together, we will win this seat back for working Mainers. Thank you, Maine.

Yes, this. I don’t suspect mass fraud or anything, but the election system in CA needs a total revamp.
A close friend of mine is cancelling his voter registration today. He is convinced Spencer Pratt was robbed of the election. I explained to him that in California we count absentees first (which skew older and more conservative) and election day voters are younger and more Democratic. The slow count is largely because of policies to maximize participation, including postmarking a ballot on Election Day. Regardless, we need to figure out in California how we can get the vote counted faster and results tabulated so it does not drag on. We should make the investments in operational improvements and resources in the wealthiest state in the nation. It is worth spending the resources to get the vast majority of the vote counted within 48 hours. Right now the system is eroding trust and spawning conspiracy theories.
