This account has clearly stolen @GuildSaga's gameplay trailers, art, and other marketing assets to likely try to pull off some sort of scam, however the "support team"(probably Grok) has denied all reports.
@nikitabier get a real person to review this before people get scammed by this imposter.

Moonfrost came to the space entirely for funding, delivered a decent game that stood out in our niche, but, after years of development, never had any idea how to implement web3 economics into it.
So they took the easy way out and let Openloot do it, who immediately started with a string of highly extractive NFT lootbox mints in limited batches starting at $50 and scaling up to hundreds of dollars each with diminishing rewards.
Not to put it all on Openloot though, the team independently held a token presale to their community and others around a year before that was never delivered upon.
When it all moved off chain there were no refunds, just a single copy of their unfinished game. Basically turning it all into a terrible kickstarter.
All that community extraction still didn't stop the founders from pointing fingers at everyone around them rather than take any of the blame on themselves. It was, of course, the fault of all those who supported them over the years rather than their own half-assed delivery to blame for their failure. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

Result: November 2025. "We are leaving web3." Game pivoted to Steam as a paid title. All NFTs and tokens dropped.
Same era, same tools, different math:
> Stardew Valley. ConcernedApe, 1 dev, 4 years in his bedroom. Over $500M revenue.
> Coral Island. Stairway Games, indie team. 1M copies, ongoing updates.
> Spiritfarer. Thunder Lotus, indie team. Multi-million copies, BAFTA winner.
The whole pitch was: Stardew Valley meets web3. The team raised $6.5M to build it. Then they admitted, in their own words: "Web3 want to make money. Web2 just want a good game."
So they took $6.5M from web3 investors, sold NFTs to web3 players for years, and then told that same community: actually, you were the problem.
ConcernedApe raised $0 and ships forever. Moonfrost raised $6.5M from web3 and used it to leave web3.
Not a shutdown. Worse: a quiet exit with the door closed behind them.

I would hardly call myself a KOL, I think the engagement I got on that post proves that fairly well. ๐
The team approached me, likely due to content I've done on the game in the past.
I took an offer of $50 for an X post announcing season 1 and put in more effort than was really required of me because I genuinely like the game. Scripted, voiced, and edited all by me, no AI used.
Didn't advertise past NFT benefits within the video, I really only mentioned the $20 premium pass as it felt like more pertinent information going into the season. Which I actually used $20 of my payout on for myself once the game went live.
I'll admit that I am far from the most active creator in this space, but I have been around for a while now, and I still try to elevate web3 games that I actively enjoy on occasion. Honestly, I already was considering making content on the game before they reached out, the payment was just added incentive.

Look man, metrics were never a part of the deal, I made the video and posted it and was paid more or less immediately upon doing so.
The fact that X's god awful algorithm fucked it wasn't really in the conversation. I paid for premium hoping for a boost and it didn't even reach half my last post's views without it. It is what it is.
It's not like I get these deals often, last one was long before the paid content tags were even introduced. So you're kinda blowing this way out of proportion dude.
