People are building amazing things with AI… not slop, but real amazing software! Everyone says distribution is the issue… and in my mind it shows just how dysfunctional search and app stores are. I Googled my bank’s name and they have to run an advertisement for their name so it appears in the search results. I cant wait for AI to make these marketplaces irrelevant.

AI is the ultimate disruptive force against gatekeepers. It provides individuals the power to be in control of their own healthcare, financial services, creative tools, entertainment content, etc. Those who rely on scarcity are the ones most opposed to AI.

As more designers and PMs work directly with code via AI to prototype, there really needs to be a better UI for managing code. Like a Figma interface to preview projects, share them, manage exit permissions, and make changes. Feels like Figma should have done that years ago.

People think AI is going to replace their exact job and that it is impossible. However AI disrupts industries and processes so much so it is most likely your employer will be replaced.

Thinking about the possibility that life is simply a boot loader for AI and that the universe is effectively an embryo that grows and embodies AI among a multiverse of emense scale.

I enjoy the Grok voice mode personality better than chatGPT (though both have a lot of room for improvement). Grok has great access to current event information, but it is wild how far behind it is from GPT 5.5 when asking anything requiring reasoning. I'm getting very impatient for these models and harnesses to converge.

FYI… Google offers a $20/month family plan so family members can use Gemini on their own accounts. I wish others did this too.

On @X , whenever I watch a video, most often a clip of an interview at a conference about tech, there is a 100% chance X shows me a movie clip completely unrelated to the thing I wanted to watch, something ch as a clip from a movie. X is really missing the YouTube sense of what to show next.

Thoughts on Opus 4.8 so far after a few days of use. It being end lots of token thinking, testing, and running around simple tasks. Overall I’m not sure when to give it each effort level. It is likely good, but I find it hard to feel good about any choice I make.

If you are still thinking about building software features, you are not taking agentic AI seriously. Give agents read/write capabilities and they can suddenly do everything . The software development workflow is obsolete.

I haven’t opened @figma in weeks, but I kinda miss seeing the design system components for my application in one place. Time to have the agent build a design system viewer I guess.

If there is one group of people that despises AI more than anyone else, it has got to be authors.

I'm working on improvements to @nuvvel_stories and now have some pretty good auditing capabilities. This should really help improve the quality of the cast.

The @Apple App Store is impossible for finding apps. I went to find a math app for my kid for some basic addition. Every single app appears to be a $24/month subscription. There is no way to actually filter for any other type of app. I’m happy to pay $2.99 for a basic math app. But there is no way to find them. How are you all searching for apps these days?

The future of AI literature is looking so bright. Having the smartest and most worldly author crafting my new and novel stories is mind-blowing. I am completely revamping Nuvvel and it is exciting!

Nuvvel, the world’s largest publisher of electronic books is expanding! Over the last 2 years, AI authorship has gotten incredibly good. What are your dislikes of AI generated content?

Trying to keep kids entertained while traveling is easy if you give them screens, but then they don't get to see the world around them. Now kids can use their screens to play classic car games while on the road, or complete scavenger hunts in places that involve waiting... airports, hotel lobbies, hospitals, etc. I've priced it as a one-time fee with no subscriptions, ads, or upsells. All functionality unlocked! My kids love it.

Peak Active is making waves!

Peak Active is for people who like to stay active by walking, without turning every outing into a fitness project. It fits real life: morning walks with a friend, an evening lap around the neighborhood, or a weekend charity 5K. You want to know how far you walked and celebrate your progress, but you don’t want to mess with battery-hungry tracking or stop mid-conversation to start a workout.
