A great event at @Amway World Headquarters last week as we celebrated America’s 250th anniversary. We reflected on President Ford’s legacy, a man who embodied principled leadership long before he ever reached the Oval Office. I wrote a book (in Dutch) about the Dutch speakers of New York and New Jersey in which Maarten van Buren plays a prominent role. The last speaker of the Tawl (American-Dutch) died in 1962.
