Today, the European Union took a major step forward. All Member States agreed to open the first accession negotiations cluster with Ukraine and Moldova. At the first Intergovernmental Conference on Monday, we will open the cluster on fundamentals; the backbone of the accession process. It covers the core values and principles on which the EU is built, from the rule of law to strong democratic institutions. This is a recognition of the determination, courage and hard work shown by both countries in advancing reforms, even in the face of immense challenges. And a signal that the EU’s offer of peace, stability and opportunity is unmatchable. Enlargement is a strategic choice. By bringing our nations closer together, we strengthen peace, security and prosperity across our continent. In a world marked by growing uncertainty, a larger European Union is in our common interest. Enlargement remains one of the EU’s greatest success stories and our best investment in our shared future.

Stel je voor dat je zou zeggen wat je ziet: dat dit geen Nederlanders zijn die hier massaal hun loyaliteit aan een ander land etaleren. Dat dit mensen zijn die zich duidelijk meer verbonden voelen met Ankara of Rabat dan met Den Haag. Dat ze hier wonen, maar hun hart (en vlag) elders ligt. Want blijkbaar is het grootste taboe in Nederland anno 2026 niet het massaal importeren van mensen die zich hier niet thuis voelen, maar het hardop benoemen dat ze zich hier niet thuis voelen. Maar ik zeg het nog een keer: Dit zijn geen Nederlanders. En ze zullen het ook nooit worden. Hun vlaggen hangen er niet voor niets. Prachtig toch? Dan regelen we gewoon remigratie. Een retourtje naar het land waar hun hart ligt. Met vlag en wimpel. Een eenmalig ticket, NL paspoort inleveren, geen gedoe meer met dubbele loyaliteit, parallelle samenlevingen en eindeloze integratiedebatten. Laat ze daar hun vlaggen ophangen zoveel ze willen. En laat de Nederlandse straten weer Nederlands zijn 🇳🇱 🇳🇱 🇳🇱

Italian authorities arrested a 30-year-old Moroccan national in connection with the brutal decapitation of a 44-year-old German woman named Silke Sauer in Scandicci, a suburb of Florence. Sauer's mutilated body was discovered in an abandoned building. She was known to local homeless charities and frequently visited community soup kitchens. The Moroccan migrant, Issam Chlih, had prior drug convictions and a history of mental health struggles. Stories of brutal beheadings are being heard from all over Europe. This is a result of mass immigration.
