This makes no sense! Penalising reaction time (Devon Allen) is not logical in the first place. And because the NCAA/SEC couldn’t provide the right blocks should not result in a World Record or not. Every right track athlete in their minds knows Morales Williams ran that time. 🤦🏼♂️

PSA:
The fastest 60m runners and 60m hurdlers are hardly ever the fastest 100m, 100mh, or 110mh at the end of the season. Those last 40m and those last 5 hurdles make a huge difference.

Indoor Track - VA Showcase
Maddox White '26 set a school record in the 60-meter dash (6.91), which is the top time in the state this season. He also ran 6.41 for 2nd in the 55 - the 2nd best time for a sophomore in the nation - and placed sixth in the 300 at 34.95.

Don't be afraid to get outside of your comfort zone. That's how I felt every single time I ran the 400m. It didn't come naturally, it wasn't easy, and it definitely scared me…but it was all about facing that challenge. I’m applying this same concept to life now.
