Unfortunately not the outcome we wanted against Burns in round 4 of the NCHSAA 4A state playoffs. We were hoping to get the W for Coach Mac who tragically passed away the night before on the field, but it wasn’t in Gods plan. Coach Mac will be missed and never forgotten. Playoff Pitching Stats; 9.1 IP 2 GS 2 W 4 H 11 K’s 2.250 ERA 1.179 WHIP .125 BAA Held 89 deep into games and was sitting 87-88. After a crazy day with a bus ride that should’ve been 3 hours and ended up being 6, due to the bus breaking down and us switching to ride 3 different buses, we got a HUGE comeback win over 3 seed, Pisgah in a 4-3 game in round 3! Not our best week as a team, but we will bounce back. Went 1-2 in the Easter Tournament. C/o 2027 Pitching; Didn’t have my best stuff on the bump, but pushed through 3 innings with 2 K’s. On a positive I felt that I had great feel for my fastball as it was also the first time I hit 90 in a game.
