Like so many people, I was glued to @NASA Artemis II coverage, so naturally I crocheted @Astro_Christina! As a careers adviser I talk a lot with my students about role models...but we never really grow out of needing them...we all benefit from people who make us dream bigger!🚀🧶
For any lovely Politics teachers, Jess Hardy and I are going to try and run Exam Feedback for Edexcel 2025 webinars...and we'd love to have you along!

One of my favourite weeks of the year - Fairfield Futures! A week working with Yr 6 on different pathways & skills, exploring their parents'/carers' Squiggly Career @Amazing_If, using Apprenticeship Arcade @AmazingAppsUK, hearing from @dmuleicester, and more! ❤️ @LboroFairfield
Last week we celebrated Earth Week here at Bilborough. We managed to raise a huge £716.02 for the Marine Conservation Society!
We wanted to say a huge thank you and well done to all our students and staff who were involved in the fundraising and organising! #EarthDay2025
What an unforgettable experience in the skies with RAF Cranwell!
Six of our RAF cadets got the chance to take control of the aircraft, soaring above the sunny Lincolnshire countryside for 20 minutes. A massive thank you to RAF Cranwell for making it happen.

93 years ago, the course of nuclear physics took a new turn when John Cockcroft and Ernest Walton split the atom⚛️ using a particle accelerator for the first time. This achievement earned them the @nobelprize in Physics in 1951.

Glorious day checking out Pisa. No visit complete without ticking off the Galileo sites! Not sure he ever dropped anything off the tower but he was definitely born in Pisa.

Fabulous visit to Brussels today! Popped by the Belgian Federal Parliament, and saw a copy of the Maastrict Treaty in the Museum of the National Bank! 😎

35 years ago today, one of the most ICONIC and profound images was taken.
the pale blue dot.
ALT A dark, nearly black background with faint streaks of sunlight forming diagonal beams. In one of these beams, near the right side of the image, a minuscule, barely visible pale blue dot—Earth—stands out, appearing fragile and isolated against the vast emptiness of space. Taken on Feb. 14, 1990, by NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft from 3.7 billion miles (6 billion kilometers) away, this iconic photograph underscores the profound vastness of the cosmos and Earth's tiny presence within it
