Insightful talk yesterday by @DrSophieHarman author of Sick of It: The Global Fight for Women’s Health, and so aligned with my own research on women’s medical memoirs. Thanks to LSE and @demsabroaduk @dawomenscaucus for hosting
Really enjoyed reading my "Living Among the Amish During the Plague" essay at @msmarymorgan 's Cult Chaos: Little Deaths. Great feedback & wonderful mix of artists sharing their work.

Education is about the students, not the vanity of the teacher...and that's my excuse for why you can barely see me behind the podium in this picture 🙄
A big welcome to all the new researchers we met today at the @CHASE_DTP Induction. It was great learning more about the other networks and their plans for the upcoming year
to clarify, Halloween is not for vampires & witches, it is for multiple evolutions of pizza worship. This Pizza Hut costume by Aunt Dena is beyond. And the way that classic Pizza Rat costume was elevated by the presence of Lady Liberty herself, yes, yes, yes
💪Proud to have secured funding to cover the cost of the next @CHASE_writers meet up, our first event in person! Online meetings may cost less, but nothing beats the opportunity to have early career researchers network in person.
NEXT MEETING: Saturday 9 November, meet @ British Library’s Terrace Café at noon for lunch & networking, then 1:30pm walk through of the exhibit Medieval Women: In Their Own Words
Searching for a new dentist and find one calling themselves "energetic" Uhm, no. Why don't you just say you move fast & break things? I can feel the pain already
